Victorian bush-fire appeal

We, Edwin and Petra, live in South Australia, Willunga and got a wild idea on Monday morning:

Collect as many books and bring them to the mums and dads and kids in Victoria – Australia.

This idea is now taking shape and we have created a poster, organised many drop-off points in the area, set a date: 23 February we leave, ordered 1000 new books (“A New Earth” by Eckhart Tolle), set this blog up. Yesterday Fred of Dogridge came in, just out of the blue, haven’t seen him for a year or so, and he was the greatest help to get things off the ground.

Just got a phone call from the McLaren Vale & Fleurieu Visitors Centre: they already have multiple boxes with books ready!
