Congratulations! Great idea.
The town of Gordon is en route from SA
We could gather books for collection at Gordon or Ballarat, but would you have room for more?
Maybe we should try to organise our own effort.
Let us know your thoughts please – if you have time!!
Best wishes

Thanks for your response. The community spirit is amazing, everywhere you go. Litterally everybody is cooperating. I am afraid we will not be able to take all books with us already, so picking up books on the go will not be possible. We will ship our excess books directly to a Melbourne warehouse.
You can always organise your own effort and we certainly can combine our distribution efforts in the affected areas, something we still have to organize, but what will fall in place when the time is there. At least that is our experience.

Well done what a fantastic effort.Didn’t hear about it until too late but could have given a hand and also have a few boxes to donate. Will there be another run and are they of any use for this effort?

Thanks for your nice gesture, we cannot take anymore books at the moment and most relief goods centers are full now. The funny thing was that, although the are full, the number of books were very low and they liked our books very much. So maybe you can collect them and bring them to any of the other relief centers (maybe in South-East)?
